Welcome to EchoX ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal and lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App
• Use the App in a manner that infringes on the rights or enjoyment of others

3. Privacy and Data Collection

We respect your privacy. The App does not collect, track, store, or share any personal information such as your name, email, location, or device identifiers.

AI Features and External Services:To provide AI-powered features like summarization and transcription, EchoX sends your transcript text to OpenAI's API. Only the transcript text is sent — no audio files, personal account data, or device identifiers are transmitted. Your transcript data is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy and terms of use. 4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers both Free and Pro versions through In-App Purchases. By subscribing or purchasing the Pro version, you agree to the following:

• Subscription Plans: Pro features are available through weekly/monthly/annual subscription plans
• Billing and Payment: Subscriptions will be charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it
• Cancellations: You can manage your subscription by going to your Apple ID Settings after purchase

All transactions and refunds are processed according to Apple's App Store policies.

5. Content Responsibility

EchoX is a voice note app that allows you to record, transcribe, and summarize audio. All voice notes, recordings, transcriptions, and summaries created through the App are your personal content and remain under your control. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content of your voice notes and recordings
• You must ensure you have the legal right to record conversations and own the intellectual property of your recordings
• You must obtain consent from all parties in a conversation where required by law before recording
• You retain all rights to your voice notes, transcriptions, and summaries
• EchoX does not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is solely at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EchoX and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App—including, but not limited to, loss of data, device malfunction, or unauthorized access to your content.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify or update these Terms of Use from time to time. All changes will be posted within this document with the updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country or region of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
