What is Sent
To generate summaries and translations, EchoX sends user transcript text to OpenAI's API. Only the transcript text is transmitted — no audio files, personal account data, or device identifiers are sent.
Who Receives It
Your transcript data is sent to OpenAI (openai.com) for processing. This data is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy and terms of use.
What is NOT Sent
- Audio recordings or raw audio files
- Your name, email, or account information
- Your location or device identifiers
- Any metadata beyond the transcript text
4. Children's Privacy
Our app does not collect or store any personal information, including from children under the age of 13. As no personal data is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data retained or deleted by us. All information and settings remain on your device.
